Wallet has disappeared and cannot enable ads

Hi All,

Yesterday I was prompted to update my Microsoft apps on my Mac. Doing so seemed to cause system wide keychain access issues on my Mac and also completely broke rewards and synching to my Gemini account in Brave.

Issues I’m seeing:

1. I cannot enable ads at all. I tried to toggle the Ads switch on and off under Brave Rewards and I can no longer enable Ads at all. The switch stays off. I had 3 BAT accumulated so far this month and I can no longer see them.

2. My wallet doesn’t seem to exist in Brave any more (although there are records under Promotions in brave://rewards-internals/ of my transfers to Gemini):

Is there anything I can do to fix this? Is re-installing Brave or resetting my wallet the only option here? If I was to restore from a back do I just restore my profile under ~/Library/Application Support/BraveSoftware/Brave-Browser/Default ?

This exact same thing is happening to me too. Only on my Windows laptop (which just did an update). My Linux PC still works fine.

I ended up resetting my wallet yesterday and it fixed the problem but I lost the 3 BAT I had accrued this month.

Does resetting the wallet make it take another device slot on Uphold?

How do you reset your wallet?

Not sure. I use Gemini.

Go to brave://rewards/ and then click on ‘Manage your wallet’ on the right hand side. Select the Reset tab and then click on Reset.
