VPN Connection causes link to uphold to break

Briefly describe your issue:

I’ve recently started using NordVPN to enhance my security, along with a dedicated IP address on my laptop (not phone). When I connect to my VPN (always a London Server and I am in the UK) I get disconnected from Uphold. When I try to reconnect I get a ‘site in mainentence’ message. Pausing the VPN and reconnecting fixes this.

Windows 11 and Android - not OS related

What date did you connect a your Brave Rewards Profile? 2018?

Have you been able to successfully receive payments in the past? Yes

Are you using a VPN? (yes/no) Yes but only within my own country

Are you in a supported region (see here for list of supported regions)? Yes

Does your device pass the SafteyNet check (Android only)? Yes

Have you fully completed Uphold’s CDD requirements? Yes

PSA: Current Rewards Issues (June 2023) *UPDATED*

The Brave Rewards have been messed up for some users getting flagged and people have speculated that a VPM might be affecting it but I’m not sure if this has been proved or not.

@coltaku this has nothing to do with what OP is asking.

Just to clarify, you are saying that your connection between Brave Rewards and Uphold is broken when the VPN connects — is that correct?
