Vimeo playback not working

I’m sorry if I’ve put this in the wrong place or I am asking the wrong people, but I am an everyday user and this platform is complicated to me.

I’ve asked before, but did not receive help beyond, “try clearing the cache”.

It doesn’t matter how I access vimeo videos, they will not play from Brave android browser. There is no error message, the videos simply don’t play. Youtube and Rumble videos play with no problem.

I have cleared cache and cookies to no avail. I have tried with Brave shields up and shields down. I have disabled my vpn and I have left it enabled. Nothing I have tried seems to affect playback.

I would appreciate any help available. Thank you.

I am facing same issue. tried everything like you.

@Venushka can you please try visiting Vimeo, tapping the “tune” icon to the left of the URL, then tap Permissions and try toggling the Autoplay permission “on”.

Refresh the page and check again to see if video content plays.

Made permission changes as you suggested, but it made no difference. The video still will not play. :face_with_spiral_eyes:

Can you please launch Brave and go to Menu --> More tools --> Guest window and tell me if the site works in the guest window?
