Viewing youtube video full-screen blanks the external monitor

#1

I have an external monitor connected to my iMac. When I watch youtube videos full-screen in Brave on the built-in screen, the external monitor is blanked. I know that this is the default full-screen behavior in MacOS starting in OS X 10.7.x (Lion), but at least one browser, Firefox, does not blank the external monitor when youtube videos are played in full-screen mode (via the full-screen “button” in the youtube video pane). Because of this, Firefox is my go-to browser for watching youtube (and other) videos. Unfortunately, Firefox is a dog performance-wise, so I’m always searching for a better browser that doesn’t blank the external monitor when watching videos full-screen. It would be nice if Brave could allow viewing of youtube (and vimeo, and others) videos full-screen without blanking the external monitor. Perhaps there could be a Preferences checkbox to enable/disable this behavior.
