Why don’t I have the view favourites option in the 3 dots beside the favourites icons?
I am missing one of the choices. You have 3 and I have 2 only.
This is because you already have the entire first page full. What you are seeing actually may be a bug that I’m looking into right now, but if you click the little dot at the bottom of the widget (shown below), you can scroll to the next page and add a site from there:
That only happens on 1 of my 3 computers, the other 2, I have no issues and on that second page explanation there is only room for 1 more. I don’t want to add more, just the ones I have now visible like on my other 2 computers.

Are you saying that you want both pages of that widget to be visible all at once, rather than having to manually select the second page?
If not, can you please rephrase what you mean when you say the following?

Today, they are visible again. What is it with your browser that sometimes you don’t see the proper symbol for each company, only little earths and sometimes you all the proper app symbols like for Paypal?
Yesterday I had them but this morning they are not visible again, just that little planet Earth symbol.
What is going on with your search engine page?

Apologies for the confusion, I understand now. It seems like something is clearing those images regularly. Do you have any browsing data set to be deleted on exit by chance? Also, when you click on and visit those sites then return to the new tab page, does the icon for the site you visited appear?
For the computer not to slow down more and more every day, all cookies and browsing history have to be deleted on a daily basis but like I said, this only happens with this computer not with my 2 others.
This is likely the reason you are seeing the icons disappear on each reboot. You can test this by opening the browser, visiting those sites so that the icon appears, close the browser without clearing any data, then relaunch it — those icons should still be there.
I have to do that every time. I get all my symbols back after I use them all, then after a few days they disappear again. You should fix this.

There is no way to fix this — some of the data you are deleting is the data that tells the tile on your new tab page what icon to fetch and display. If it doesn’t have that information, then it will use the default icon, which is why you see those white tiles with the globe on it.
It doesn’t do that on my other 2 computers and I use the same everyday cleaning methods every day.
Then there must be something different on this computer than the others. Are there any other extensions you have installed? Are you using any other software or anti-virus programs on this PC that you’re not using on the other? Are you using the same Brave version on all three machines?
You can also test this very simply by opening Brave on the affected computer, visiting all those sites so that the icons appear, close the browser without deleting any data, relaunch it and see if the icons are still present.
If they are, then we know that clearing that data is the cause of the issue.
