Videos on non focused tab keep pausing

Description of the issue:
Tabs that are not in focus, pause videos. I wish for these videos to remain playing even when I am playing another video in the primary focused tab.

How can this issue be reproduced?

  1. Open tab with video
  2. Play video
  3. Open new tab with video
  4. Play video
  5. Return to first tab
  6. Observe the first video in the first tab that was previously playing, has been paused.

Expected result:

Additional Information:
Including website to the “always active” list under performance does not fix this.
