Video playing error (Bug)

Description of the issue:
I am not able to play the video on my device, as you can see in the screenshot.
How can this issue be reproduced?

1 .every time it shows an error for me.

Expected result:
The video should play.

Brave Version( check About Brave):

1.56.20 Chromium: 115.0.5790.171 (Official Build) (64-bit)
Mobile Device details
Redmi note 8 pro
Android 11

Additional Information:
And there is no problem with my internet speed. I am using wifi.

One last thing: this problem is only present in Chrome-based browsers. I tried playing videos in Firefox and it worked.

Does it work in Chrome? Any fix needed here will needed to be fixed by the chromium team

well if it happens on all Chromium browsers, maybe going to brave://flags and changing some GPU stuff might do it, like you can test disabling Vulkan and see what happens, or the hardware accelerated video decode and stuff like that or some GPU flag.
But yeah, seems to be something in your device, that is just not working with Chromium browsers, so it is hard to give a definitive answer.

But It works fine on a Samsung phone with Android 13 and 12.

If the issue is present in all Chromium browsers then you will have to wait for a fix from the Chromium team upstream to be pushed. We apologize for the inconvenience.

Have you reported it too the website? Having a broken video playback for chromium browsers seems a major bug

I would report it, given the 70-80% Chromium marketshare, it should be fixed
