Video player stops when I try to adjust the volume or use any other video control

If I am playing a video on any site, when I try to use the volume control or any other video control, the video stops playing. I can re-start it by clicking the “Play” arrow again. Doesn’t happen on the same computer with Chromium, Chrome or Firefox.

Play a video on a Linux Mint 20 machine and try to adjust the volume?

Video will stop playing, when you only wanted to adjust the volume.
