Video player bug showing green belt

Description of the issue:
Playing Facebook/Twitter/Youtube videos in Brave browser shows a green blinking belt in the bottom third of the video. It seems the whole height of the video is squeezed to the upper two thirds of the video canvas, while the bottom one third shows blinking green belt with random glitter.

Steps to Reproduce (add as many as necessary):

  1. Play any video on Facebook/Twitter, or YouTube embedded video.
  2. Does not happen with playing regular (no embed) youtube videos on youtube.com

Additional Information:

Thanks for the report. It could be due to Hardware acceleration which is under the advance settings. You can try enable/disable that and see if it fixes the issue. That being said we have moved away from the muon browser(0.25.2) which is replaced by Brave-Browser. You can download the new version which fixes a lot of issues and would the be the only supported version going forward. You can remain on the current version and wait for an auto upgrade to the new version or you can manually install and import bookmarks/stats/passwords from 0.25.2. Payment import is not yet available but would be done during auto upgrade.
