Video continues in small window

Running Brave on Ubuntu laptop.
As I scroll through topics, either searched or in FB or other locations, if I scroll past, the video continues in a small window. I scrolled past because I wasn’t interested. I think the default should be to shut down the video and if I want it to continue, give me the option, rather than forcing me to quit it.
If this is just a setting someplace, please make it more visible and easier to find.

That little video window is likely the product of the webpage/website that is aware of your keyboard and mouse behavior.

If you look at the larger video window, and figure out how to close it — some “X” box/icon/switch, perhaps — then the little window typically does not sudden pop up . . . when you scroll down the webpage.
