This issue also occurs generally when switching windows with only one of the windows having video content on it. Additionally, the extension Volume Master stops the issue from occurring when activated on the tab with the video content.

Interesting – can you try disabling Graphics Acceleration in the browser (Settings --> System --> Graphics Acceleration) and see if this resolves the issue at all?

If you’re willing, can you please try downloading and installing the Beta Build of the browser and test to see if you get the same behavior in the Beta? Note that installing/running the Beta will not overwrite your current installation. It will run as a separate browser and you’re welcome to uninstall it when you’re done testing.
Got it. It looks like I can now reproduce this with these steps. To be clear, when you reselect the video that stopped rendering, the content continues to play normally right?
