Description of the issue:
When accessing any site on the google domain (docs, maps, gmail, search), the page load times are ridiculously slow, sometimes erroring out with a “network changed” message. However, the issue seems to disappear when turning shields off.
In the above video the site bbc.co.uk loads flawlessly on a 500mbps internet connection, but the google domain hangs. Comically I have now also encountered the same issue when trying to access imgur.com to upload the video, so I will update this post when I can access the site to upload.
The issue is also present when using the url bar as a search bar with google set as the preferred search engine
I have done a full reinstall of Brave, pinged the domains in CMD to verify connection and accessed sites in Edge with no problem. I will be changing over to Firefox until this is resolved
