Vertical Tabs: How to Turn Off Auto-hide?

I installed Brave but the vertical tabs hide. I don’t see an option in Appearance settings to have the tabs open all the time. Is there a way?

I’m seeing it: brave://settings/appearance > Tabs > Expand vertical tabs panel on mouseover when collapsed

Yes, I saw that but I don’t want it to collapse and have to hover each time. I just want to see the uncollapsed tabs.

So… just turn it off???

I did that but then the tab is only as wide as an icon (minimum width). Way to change width? I don’t see a drag and resize option when on the vertical tab bar.
