Verifying uphold with Brave account

Just a question

I have an uphold account and tried to connect to Brave account. I live in New York and when I tried to connect it showed

"Error creating Brave Browser BAT card
BAT is not currently supported in your region. Please refer here for updates."

Is brave not supported in New York?

Uphold need to comply with New York’s BitLicense regulation in order to provide the service to NY residents.

You can still earn BAT from Brave Ads. But you’ll not be able to withdrawal it to Uphold.
