When trying to sign up a new domain the only verification method offered is a WordPress plugin (we are running both WordPress and non-WordPress sites), but the page warns that “Uh oh! Your domain is NOT using HTTPS. You will need to fix that before continuing.” - despite us having HTTPS as the default access method on the entire domain.

I to have same issue anybody suggest a way to get my site verified …
There still appears to be no fix for this and the WordPress plugin which can supposedly verify a site is nowhere to be found.
