Description of the issue:
After updating to v1.42.97, several things seem to have gone haywire, including…
- Settings > Appearance > Use wide address bar was turned off in all my profiles
- Ghostery extension (installed for when I have to turn off Shields, because there’s no fine-grained controls for Shields) disappeared from all my profiles.
- Enpass (password manager) extension’s overlay started popping up randomly, especially when bringing computer up from sleep when Brave is open.
- (I think other extensions may have disappeared too, but I’m not sure.)
How can this issue be reproduced?
Not sure how reproducible it is, and I’d have to uninstall Brave and reinstall a previous version to even try.
