I have been using Brave for over 4 months now, ads are on, account is verified, wallet connected; everything is en point yet I am not receiving any BAT tokens. My balance is ZERO. What’s wrong? Chrome was faster and didn’t at least have security risks: I saw that my reward history tracker has websites I have NEVER visited before. And, I do not share my computer with anyone; I stay alone. What is happening? My disk space shows up as FULL since I have started using this god forsaken browser. I NEED ANSWERS because MY SECURITY AND PRIVACY are being compromised!!
@mephistae,
Thank you for posting. Lets take this one at a time:
Can you please DM with the following information:
Copy/paste your Wallet ID (found on brave://rewards-internals)
Your OS and Brave version (first three lines in brave://version)
A screenshot of your Rewards panel in Settings --> Brave Rewards.
Then we can take a look at our end and see whats going on under the hood.
Can you be more specific about this particular issue? What do you mean when you say “Rewards History tracker”? Are you referring to browser history (Menu --> Settings --> History) or are you referring to your Rewards monthly summary/statements (Menu --> Brave Rewards --> View Monthly Statement)?
If you’re referring to storage space on your Windows PC, its true that Brave will take up some space for installation, plus any extensions installed will also take space. Browsing history/cache will as well, although it generally isn’t notable until quite a while after heavy usage. It’s highly unlikely that Brave itself is taking up your HDD space – have you been downloading content using the browser to your PC?
