Description of the issue:
Window does not have title bar. This leads to two usability issues:
- Missing title of the page. There is just no place for it. At all.
- Really hard to move window around. It takes an effort to land mouse in the thin band above tab bar.
Steps to Reproduce (add as many as necessary): 1. 2. 3.
- Open a window.
- Try to locate a space above tab bar.
- Try to point mouse in the few pixels above the tab bar and move window around.
- Try to find title of the page. Tabs are too narrow horizontally. What is meant to be titlebar is too narrow vertically.
Actual Result (gifs and screenshots are welcome!):
Hard to move window around.
Hard to read title of the page.
Expected result:
A band of 5-10mm height above tabs. The band should have window manipulation controls (minimize/maximize/close) and title of the window. Dragging the titlebar should move window around. Doubleclick on the titlebar should maximize the window vertically.
Reproduces how often:
Every time. 100%.
Operating System and Brave Version(See the About Brave
page in the main menu):
