URL bar font size update

Description of the issue:
It’s not an issue, but a comment about the URL bar font size update in version 1.42(22.8.15.22).

This new font size is too large, it looks strange now :confused:, the previous one was much better.

** It seems like the Brave footer font size was updated as well, wasn’t?

How can this issue be reproduced?

  1. Update Brave to the latest version
  2. See the new URL bar font size

Expected result:
URL bar font size equal the previous version

Brave Version( check About Brave):
1.42(22.8.15.22).

Hi! Yes, but then it reflects in all iPhone text font sizes and in all apps as well, not just Brave which is the only one that is in need to lower its font size.

Could you tell please why you guys decided to update this font size?

If you guys don’t think about reverting this font size update, it would be great if there’s an option where the user could choose the font size in Brave.

Don’t you get the same bigger size in Safari if you decided to increase font sizes globally?
We had people asking for bigger font sizes and we added it for accessibility reasons

You can also change the font size for specific apps it seems, see this article

Yes! But in all other apps the size is proportional displayed, none of them looks strange and way too big like Brave after the latest update.

For accessibility reasons there’re other ways to higher the font size, as explained in the link you’ve sent me and in iOS settings > accessibility.

We tried to match safari when it comes to url bar font sizes
