My uphold account is showing a balance of zero despite previously having well over 150 BAT in it. I discovered this when I finally wanted to move my BAT and so was going to get verified to do so. But obviously upon logging in and finding all my BAT gone I am unable to do anything except raise the issue with Uphold in an attempt to find out if my account has been hacked.
Despite promising a 2 hour response time it is now 4 days later and despite repeated requests for assistance on this matter I can get no rsponse, with the issue just sitting their as ‘open’.
Obviously I am also concerned that other passwords and accounts may be compromised now. This is outrageous.
I am now suspecting Uphold have stolen my funds.
What is going on?

Nah, just means an issue with the transaction. It might be hung up a bit or delayed and going to pay out when everything else pays out, which is around the 7th of each month or so.
The best thing to do whenever you have issues with BAT payments is to create a Rewards Support Ticket at https://support.brave.com/hc/en-us/requests/new?ticket_form_id=360001302431 so Brave can look into it. Keep in mind it can often take 3-5 business days to get to your ticket, then more to investigate. So while they can get to you quicker, be prepared for it to take a little longer.
Uphold made the 2 hour claim and have now finally responded asking me to upload a screenshot of BAT being deposited into my uphold account from Brave.
How the hell am I supposd to do that?
As you point out I have been using Brave for 3 years plus.
Anyway I will get back to uphold and see what transpires and post here if necessary later.
@Jiminy honestly, this is likely going to be something that Brave will have to resolve for you. So I’d create the Rewards support ticket as I mentioned. I’m going to go ahead and tag in @steeven and @Evan123 in case either of them might be able to DM you for details or help. That said, usually best method will be that support ticket. If you get that done and share the ticket number here, it might help.

I have closed my unused uphold account. I’m sick to death of this KYC and bending over to corrupt governments going on everywhere. Every promise of crypto has been broken from privacy to self custody to transaction fees, you name it. Crypto will die and you have all done it to yourselves by compliance to a criminal establishment. It’s been a sickening space for a very long time now and it’s only getting worse. Good riddance.
