Uphold account and Brave wallet sync?

Hello,

I have a verified Brave rewards wallet and all my rewards are paid out to my Uphold account. This is fine and all good.

What I don’t really understand is, when I open my Brave Wallet in the Brave Browser, I would expect to see the same amount of BAT as I have in my Uphold account.

Is this not correct, or do I misunderstand something?
