Updating to the latest version not possible as a restricted user

Description of the issue: Update as restricted user not possible recently

Steps to Reproduce (add as many as necessary): 1. 2. 3.

  1. Call up settings and go to “About Brave”
  2. Check for updates

Actual Result (gifs and screenshots are welcome!): Sorry, I didn’t save it =(

Expected result: The update process should work

Reproduces how often: Always

Brave Version(about:brave): The version before the update to 0.56.15

Reproducible on current live release (yes/no): yes

Additional Information:
If you want to update to the current version, a limited user will get an error message with a “Low System” error message when trying to update.
Unfortunately I did not save the error message.
I had to log into my admin account and update Brave from there. Then it worked fine.
