Just installed 1.21.73 on Mint 20.1…how does the browser update?
Did you follow the instructions on https://brave.com/linux/#debian-9-ubuntu-1404-and-mint-17?
If so, then the repository is added to your system repositories and so updates will take place whenever you update the packages on your system, for example, anytime you run:
