Update brave browser failed

Hi ,

I updated my brave browser with a android 10+ update but my phone has android 9 only.
The browser chrashed every time now. Not funny…
Most importand are my bookmarks.
I have no sync , google account…

I updated with a apk file .

Anny ideer how to recover my bookmarks at least ?

I havent deledet yet , is no problem to get brave again but i will loos all data of the old one.

Hello there @lostshadow please accept my apologies for this issue. Could you please try deleting your cookies from the app to see if the issue is solved?

  1. In Brave, open the main menu, then Settings --> Privacy. Note: You can also select Menu --> History --> Clear browsing data
  2. Select Clear browsing data

Let me know if that works.

Thanks for your reply.
I cant open brave at all. It craches right at the start if i open the app. I tryed clear cash in the android app manager. But still the same. I cant either deled updates because its a third part app…

Update :

I downloaded another version of brave and this time i workt .

Yess , verry happy .

The version 1.46.146 dident workt but 1.46.146.20 does.

Works great now , all bookmaks still there .
