Description of the issue:
Device Touch ID, Face ID, or passcode are not required for autofilling site passwords. You aren’t even prompted to pick a password if you have multiple for that site or if you want to use one that hasn’t been saved. Some sites also don’t recognize that the fields have been filled.
How can this issue be reproduced?
- On the desktop app, create a made up login for app.sessions.blue.
- Open app.sessions.blue on a synced iOS/iPadOS device.
- Click the hamburger icon in the top right and then click “log in.”
Expected result:
The password is immediately filled out, without prompt or ID verification. If you click sign in after the fields have been autofilled, it will tell you that an email and password are required because it doesn’t recognize that anything has been filled in.
