Universal Version of Brave for M1 Silicon Mac

I see in System Report on my 2015 MBP that Brave is an Intel app. A friend tells me he is running the iOS version on his M1 Silicon MBP. It was my understanding that Rosetta 2 would enable Intel apps to run in Monterey on an M1 or will there be a Universal version?

Expected result:

Brave Version( check About Brave):

Additional Information:

I downloaded the M1 version of the Brave Browser, and it shows iOS as “Kind” in system report.

There are 3 kinds of apps that can run in macOS on the M1:
“Universal” is an app that will run on Intel or M1 without Rosetta,
“Intel” is a legacy app that was written for Intel macs and runs with Rosetta
“iOS” is a native ARM64 application written for the ARM processor that is the System On Chip (SOC) M1/M1 Pro/M1 Max

Hope that helps.
