My uphold account is registered in the United Kingdom. I last received BAT in April 2023. Everytime I logged in my verified Uphold account, it keeps saying I am in an unsupported region. Please fix this please

@Earnvest is your passport from United Kingdom or did you submit a passport from a different country when you created your Uphold account? The API built by Uphold reports back to Brave that your country is whatever your passport is from. So like if you lived in India and had created an Uphold account there using India passport, then you moved to United Kingdom and did a change of address, Uphold would still say you’re from India. It wouldn’t show you’re from United Kingdom unless/until you submit a United Kingdom passport to them and ask them to update it.
Also, which part of UK? I can’t think of the name, but I know some people were speaking about being from some island, which I guess is kind of part of UK but it is actually independent. As such it is coded differently by Uphold and not counted as part of UK…I just wish I could remember the name.

You need to get a United Kingdom passport and then submit that to Uphold, ask them to change it so the API shows you’re from UK. If you don’t have UK passport, then you’re going to be out of luck for a while since India isn’t supported for Rewards via Uphold. So long as you only have India passport, you’d have to go through ZebPay and all, but that has its own risk of account being flagged due to being in United Kingdom.
