One of the primary reasons I started using Brave was the option to browser lock the app with a completely unique passcode. Essentially, I want to be able to protect the browser from everyone who isn’t me, including the very small handful of people who have my phone unlock code.
This extra layer of security is, again, one of the main reasons why I go to Brave. All other browsers have a “private” or incognito session that can be accessed just as easily as anything else, so I don’t really know how I’m supposed to use any browser with an expectation of privacy or security. Please, please at least bring back the option of creating a unique passcode for those of us who use Brave for its unique security features.
I know this has been inquired after in the past with no resolution yet, but I wanted to re-raise the issue to see if there is any potential for a resolution or if I really need to look for a new browser, which I really don’t want to do. Thanks.
