Unable to type "\" or any symbols using "Alt Gr + any key"

Hello,

Brave version: v1.77.97
OS: Ubuntu 24.10
keyboard: AZERTY (French)

I cannot type any symbols requiring “Alt Gr + any key” since the last update in this browser (I am currently using overleaf online)
No problem encountered to type those symbols in any other text editor or browsers (gedit, vs code, chrome, firefox, etc.)

Example:
When I type “Alt Gr + 8”, I obtain “_” instead of "" (I had to paste it from another editor, outside this Brave version)

Waiting for a quick bug fix

I can confirm that I am facing the same issue using the Brave version provided using the default, non-Flatpak or Snap version on Ubuntu 24.10. Alt Car + 2 should be giving me the @ symbol, but produces a 2 instead on a Canadian French keyboard layout.
