Unable to sign in using Google sign-in without clearing cache first


Description of the issue:
Each time I use the “Sign in with Google” option in the Langrisser PC client, I have to clear Brave’s cache to be able to sign in. If I don’t clear Brave’s cache before attempting to sign in, I get a “Something went wrong” error, followed by a Google malformed request error with error code 400.

How can this issue be reproduced?

  1. Download PC client for Langrisser mobile
  2. Sign in using Google sign-in option and log in with Gmail account using Brave
  3. Close Langrisser client, re-open Langrisser client, and sign in again using “Sign in with Google” option using Brave

Expected result:
Successful Google sign in

Additional Information:
Other browsers I’ve tried (Chrome, Vivaldi) will sign in multiple times without issue. Brave also prompts me to select a specific Gmail address to sign in with rather than automatically selecting my primary Gmail account, unlike the other browsers tested which default to my primary Gmail account.
