Unable to sign in to Amazon

I keep getting “Incorrect Password” message when trying to sign in my Amazon.com account. Same password works fine in Chrome.

OK, I just realized that apparently Amazon was not recognizing this device/app and emailed my a one-time 6-digit code to use and then it let me in. Not sure why I don’t have this problem using a different browser from the same computer.
