Description of the issue:
Unable to share window or screen in Google Meet in Brave (Linux)

How can this issue be reproduced?

  1. Open Google Meet
  2. Click on sharing
  3. The only choice is to share TAB. Window and Screen sharing does not work.

Expected result:
I am able to share window or whole screen

Brave Version( check About Brave):
Brave 1.79.123 (Official Build) (64-bit)
Chromium: 137.0.7151.104

Additional Information:
The sharing used to work. I don’t remember when it stoped working.

For Devs and troubleshooting:
Tested in Linux Mint and everything worked (could share tab, window and screen). Bug may be limited to openSUSE.

So I think the problem is relate to Flatpak. After installing Brave from RPM (zypper) it all works fine.
