So in 165 (unsure what exact subversion) I could go to brave://settings/cookies and “see all cookies and site data” to see a list of all sites and the cookies they have created. I could then delete a specific cookie if I wanted to.
In 166.110 this option is gone. The entire window is now effectively gutted, with the only option to add people to a whitelist for 3rd party cookies.
I thought this was perhaps some misbehaving extension or worse, but I checked on my office laptop (on 165.something) and it had the options I expected, until I relaunched to 166.110, and it lost the options.
If I want to delete a specific website’s cookies, or even a specific cookie in 166.110, what is the procedure to do so? I do not want to clear all browsing data. I do not want to clear just all cookies loaded in the past hour. I want to go in and delete a specific cookie for a specific site.
@KiTA,
You can find this by going to Settings --> Privacy and Security --> Site and Shield settings and click View permissions and data stored across sites:
Any chance that could possibly be added as a hyperlink inside of brave://settings/cookies (where it was at previously)? I looked for quite some time before making my post and could not find it.
Settings and menu items often get moved or shifted around. I cannot say whether or not it will ever be moved back into the place it was before. If you’d like, you can setup a bookmark that points to brave://settings/content/all for easy access.
