Unable to receive background notifications when tab is closed

I get slack notifications on chrome even when tab is closed. But on Brave when I close slack tab. I don’t get any background notifications

I already checked out the https://www.bennish.net/web-notifications.html notification demo site and not able to receive notification after 5 seconds when tab is closed

Brave Version( check About Brave): latest

Additional Information: I use multiple profiles

To confirm, you do see notifications, just not after closing the tab, correct? If so, I think you may need to allow cookies on slack.com in the Shields panel:
