Unable to log into Kinja Burner account

Description of the issue:

Cannot log into any kinja burner account on any of the Gizmodo media sites.

How can this issue be reproduced?

I am able to reproduce this issue by navigating to a Gizmodo media group page (e.g. Gizmodo.com) and attempting to sign in via clicking the profile button in the upper right corner of the page. I then click the appropriate link to login via kinja burner and enter my login information. Once my info is entered I click the appropriate button to login, a small animation occurs on the button itself. The page flickers, and nothing happens. Regardless of my shield or privacy settings, I only experience this issue with the Brave browser.

I tried entering an incorrect password, and was notified that my password/username was incorrect. If I enter the correct password, the sign in button does its animation but the page does not move beyond the login prompt.

Expected result:

Login prompt that fails to execute beyond the superficial animation on the login button.

This issue appears to have been resolved as I no longer longer can replicate.

I am having this same issue, is there something i can do to resolve this?

I wish I knew what I did to make it work. I identified no change in settings or in any of my methods. I just tried it one day - the umpteenth day - and it worked. I’ll let you know if I think of anything.

It occurs to me that instead of hitting the login near the top right, I may have tried to comment this time around, and it may have brought me to an ever so slightly different prompt. I remember that the time it worked, the link or button to use a burner appeared slightly different.
