Unable to log into google account

Unable to stay logged into any google account or check email. Once password is entered the Gmail page appears and then reverts back to the login screen. This also happens when trying to log into Playstation. All google accounts worked fine until today. This problem only occurs while on the desktop.

Version 1.16.76 Chromium: 86.0.4240.198 (Official Build) (64-bit)

could you try to update you brave as the latest version is 1.17

and if the issue still presist then try to clear cache/cookies
