Unable to log into Bestbuy.com
Go to BestBuy website and click on Log In

Should present log in window

Brave 1.78.94 Chromium: 136.0.7103.60 (Official Build) (64-bit)

I set several "The website is not responding - Wait/Cancel but no matter how long I wait, it never allows me to log in. When trying in the Private window, the same result. Tried several methods suggested back on the 2020 posts, and none help. Using Edge, Opera, or Firefox are all successful. Only Brave has this issue.

Working for me on my end. You’re saying that the sign in page doesn’t load for you at all (after going to Account --> Sign in)?

Have you tried clearing cache/browsing data for Bestbuy.com? You can do this by:

  1. Going to BestBuy.com
  2. Clicking the “tune” icon to the left of the URL
  3. Then Site Settings --> Delete data

Refresh the page and try again.

Ok, still got the wait message but after about 45 seconds it let me log in. Thanks.
Each page on orders also takes 45 seconds to load, but just shopping is instant. It must be something brave is doing that best buy doesn’t like or vice versa

Hey, can you test this;

Add the following ||tmx.bestbuy.com^ into brave://settings/shields/filters (custom rules).

And refresh the bestbuy site.

That worked. For some reason my rule I found on the internet was @@tmx.bestbuy.com^

Threatmetrix (company) is loading many scripts, also scanning for localhosts, which combined will cause slow down issues. Bestbuy in this case, but can affect others
