Description of the issue:
reinstalling on Linux Mint 20 - Cinnamon. Neither Synaptic , not Brave website downloads work. Existing Brave browser will not open, either.
How can this issue be reproduced?
1.open Linux Mint Synaptic or Terminal
2.select Brave for installation in Synaptic, or use code from Brave site in Terminal
3.install
Expected result:
You will get an error about a corrupt file. The error below was from an attempt using Terminal and the download from Brave website.
