Apologies if this has been addressed elsewhere.
I cannot install any extension from the Chrome Web Store. I get the message (in the bottom left corner) saying “Download error : Download interrupted”. It’s been quite a while since I last installed an extension.
Any thoughts would be most welcome.

OK. So I solved it.
I had Adguard installed on the PC and although the Adguard browser extension was switched off, the main program was still running. When I disabled the protection completely I could download and install extensions as usual.
On Chrome there was no need to stop the main Adguard program only the extension.
