Unable to edit voice typed text in address bar before searching

My default search engine is google. I have not tested this with any other search engine.

Description of the issue:

How can this issue be reproduced?

  1. Open brave on android
  2. Open a new tab
  3. Click on the microphone icon in address bar and speak what you want to search and the spoken words shall appear in the address bar.
  4. Before pressing enter, edit certain words since voice typing is not always accurate.
  5. Press enter.

Expected result:
Only the dictated text shows on google in search result i.e. the search result that appears on google does not contain the edits I made to the voice typed text before pressing enter.
