I am using Brave on an iPad Pro and i am unable to download any file from any website. Done a few search but unable to find a fix.
@robinharper you should always share details such as what version of Brave you’re using. The issue you are reporting is one that was resolved a few days ago. My assumption is you have not yet updated Brave. Can you double check? And if still having issues, please make sure you provide details on what specific version of Brave and iOS you’re using.

There is no update available on the App Store
Changed from desktop to mobile site and was able to download one item then it stopped again. Trying to download stl and step file from a number of different sites, i can down on safari.
1.69.2 (172) is the newest. Not sure why you wouldn’t be able to see that update. But your version number as reported here is the exact one with the known issue.
And they had tested on iPad as well, https://github.com/brave/brave-browser/issues/41073#issuecomment-2364993293 where the updated one, 1.69.2 (172) shows the issue resolved.
Did it show after the download? The issue that was resolved is that it would act like it’s downloading but then we wouldn’t see the file on the device.
Deleted Brave app from iPad. Shut down iPad.
Opened iPad, reinstalled Brave app from App store, new 1.69.2 (172) version installed.
I should not have to go through this process to gain access to updated version. Why was there no update showing on App store any ideas. As this was my first port of call when i found i had a problem.
SORRY. 1.69.2 (172) update has resolved issue.
No, you shouldn’t. No idea why App Store wasn’t reflecting it. This would be an issue for Apple and is beyond control of Brave. Hopefully won’t be a recurring issue.
