Unable to block popup ads on a video streaming site

A video streaming site shows ads in new tabs on button clicks.

Description of the issue:

https://www.bappam.top/telugu-movies/ shows popup ads on the first of every two clicks on the PLAY, STOP, and FULLSCREEN buttons.

Steps to Reproduce (add as many as necessary): 1. 2. 3.

  1. Visit https://www.bappam.top/telugu-movies/
  2. Click on “I agree T&C”
  3. Click on any movie
  4. Click on the PLAY button. It displays a popup AD tab and switches to it.
  5. Close the new AD tab and click on the PLAY button again.
  6. Now click on the STOP button. It displays a popup AD tab and switches to it.
  7. Close the new AD tab and click on the STOP button again.
  8. Go through the motion to play the video again.
  9. Now click on the FULLSCREEN button. You’ll see the pattern repeat.

Actual Result (gifs and screenshots are welcome!):
Clicking on PLAY/STOP/FULLSCREEN buttons opens an AD tab on the first click and does what the button is meant to do on the second click.

Expected result:
Ad-free movie watching.

Reproduces how often:
ALL the time.

Additional Information:
Tried the suggestions by ChatGPT, Perplexity, and Gemini to block the ADs but to no avail.
