Unable to access local router login page

I am unable to access 192.168.x.x from the local router. (NOT https)

I am using Sequoia 15.1 if that is of any relevance.

How can this issue be reproduced?

  1. Open the Brave application.
  2. Navigate to http://192.168.x.x (replacing x’s where necessary)
  3. Observe the error: ERR_CONNECTION_REFUSED

Expected result:
Router login page would appear.

Brave Version( check About Brave):
1.73.91

Additional Information:
Safari Works, CURL works, Brave does not. I am connected to the local network without issues other than this problem.

Try:

  1. Clear caches, cookies, history and all that you are willing to clear, using the Advanced tab and “All time” for the Time range, at:

brave://settings/clearBrowserData

  1. Look for switches in the Brave Browser Settings, that Enable upgrade from HTTP to HTTPS . . . and Disable such switches.

  2. Test each:

  • Brave Browser New Window
  • Brave Browser New Private Window
