Unable to access Gmail settings. Gmail thinks it's in offline mode, can't empty trash folder

Description of the issue:
How can this issue be reproduced?

1. Log into Gmail. Click the Gear icon to access settings.
2. Currently in Brave, icon does nothing.
3. Deleting trash states, Gmail can’t empty trash in offline mode.

Expected result:
Being able to access the Gmail settings.
Being able to empty trash folder.

Brave Version( check About Brave):
Version 0.68.132 Chromium: 76.0.3809.132 (Official Build) (64-bit)

Try clearing site/cache data for gmail, then re-authenticate and try again.
You can clear this data by going to gmail:

1. click the "lock" icon --> site settings
2. Clear site data

Literally after posting this it, it cleared itself. I’ve cleared the cache and reset the settings again. So far so good
