Unable to access account

have been paying monthly subscription for firewall & vpn through my apple account and been using primarily on mobile device. I’m now trying to login to account on my laptop but cannot get past login page. it keeps redirecting me to same prompt to enter email address to receive a secure link. and the link just sends me back to the same exact prompt. how do I login to my account?

Could you try the same in a private window?

I deleted and reinstalled the app and was able to get past the login. But somehow none of my email accounts are linked to the subscription I’ve been paying for. If I’ve got a copy of the last invoice can someone update the email linked to my account?

@cardonen First off, did you make sure to link them? The instructions on how to do that is at https://support.brave.com/hc/en-us/articles/13405790544653-How-do-I-add-a-new-device-to-an-existing-VPN-subscription-

If you haven’t already done that, then it won’t work.

For users with an existing subscription on iOS:

  1. Launch Brave on your iOS device
  2. In Brave, navigate to Settings → Brave Firewall + VPN
  3. Tap the Link purchase to your Brave Account option on this page
  4. You will then be redirected to account.brave.com - please login on your iOS device, then tap Connect my subscription now to add your existing subscription to your Brave account.

Congratulations – you’ve connected your existing subscription to your Brave account! To complete the process and begin using Brave Firewall + VPN on your desktop device:

  1. Launch Brave on your desktop device
  2. Visit and log into https://account.brave.com
  3. Click Plans
  4. Find the Brave VPN Subscription plan listed under Your plan subscriptions
    Click on the Refresh Brave VPN button

Brave VPN + Firewall can now be used on your desktop device.

Am I safe to assume you’re using iOS when you mention your apple account?

If you are trying to link your mobile subscription to your desktop, it important that you connect your mobile subscription to your Brave Premium account.
I have detailed steps below:

  1. Launch Brave on your mobile device
  2. In Brave, navigate to Settings → Brave Firewall + VPN
  3. Tap the Link purchase to your Brave account option on this page
  4. You will then be redirected to accounts.brave.com (If this is your first time creating a Brave Premium account, be sure to use an email address that you have access to or the email address that is connected to your mobile subscription)
  5. Navigate to your email address, you should have received a sign in request - select Log in to Brave Premium
  6. You will be redirected to Brave
  7. Tap Connect my subscription now to add your existing subscription to your account.brave.com account.

Once you have completed the steps above, please follow these instructions to connect your desktop/macOS:

  1. Launch Brave on your desktop device
  2. Click on the VPN button
  3. Select ‘Already purchased VPN?’
  4. Log into your Brave Premium account (Same email you registered with account.brave.com)
  5. Find the Brave VPN Subscription plan listed under Your plan subscriptions
  6. Click on the Refresh Brave VPN button
