I like what this browser has done (besides the rewards icons/talk/wallet etc icons showing by default). Maybe in the brave://welcome there should be an option to enable or disable “Additional Features” and selectively choose which ones to enable/disable.
Additionally, there are many issues with UI in dark mode, such as bad colour contrast (see attached).
- Site information excessive space
- Shields fingerprinting bad colour contrast
- Tab Groups icon cut off
- Clear downloads message in reverse contrast (e.g., in dark mode, it is light themed.
- PDF Reader details’ close button is reverse contrast.
- Last, but not least, make the context menu on the websites have either an icon for all or nothing (not just the QR code).
Additionally, there is a rare case in which the popup dialogues (e.g. camera/location) vibrate weirdly on the address bar. It rarely happens but looks terrible.
I’m thinking of using Firefox permanently.
