When page renders the Brave TIP button below the tweet the UI is rearranged and the “Love” button location is replaced by the Downvote one (complete opposite behaviour and dangerous if wrong used).
To reproduce it just load a tweet with it’s responses and wait the load and final render modification. I’m attaching the images.
Using Version 1.38.111 Chromium: 101.0.4951.54 (Official Build) (64-bit)
Reproducible on current live release: yes
Page rendered without modification: https://ibb.co/hVdTG36
Page rendered with the final modification by https://ibb.co/d74HrRY
This might not be the solution you’re looking for and it might not even work for you*, but I wrote an Adblock rule to block the Brave tip element from rendering (because I hated it and am never going to use it so it was just wasted page space). If you block the (iirc) div entirely it should render how Twitter intended it to be. HTH
Thanks for your reply and share the great solution for who doesn’t want to tip, while they remember what they did once they look for it few months later and can find it working (because they “hacked” the function).
I’m reporting this to figure out a better TIP button implementation on rendering. I will think about it, make some mockups and propose one solution.
