Description of the issue:
How can this issue be reproduced?
- Lately when ever I open brave I get a message accross the top
“Brave may not function correctly becasue it is no longer supported in this Linux Distribution”
(I get this same issue if I open Google Chrome.)
I click “learn more”, which takes me to Google Chrome help.
It tells me:
"To use Chrome on Linux, you’ll need:
64-bit Ubuntu 18.04+, Debian 10+, openSUSE 15.2+, or Fedora Linux 32+
An Intel Pentium 4 processor or later that’s SSE3 capable"
My pc runs Ubuntu 18.04+. the prcessor is i5-2500 which is SSE3 capable.
Brave is version 1.73.91, Chromium 131.0.6778.85 which
Per the Google help instructions, I removed Chrome (stable), dowloaded the latest version, installed.
Problem still exisits
