This filter works for me with uBO enabled: www.twitch.tv##.front-page-carousel
Does this syntax hold in the Brave browser? The same line does not block the carousel in Twitch. Note in Brave I can use the “Block Element” feature repeatedly to ultimately get at this specific element and block it, but even that returns on reloading the browser so I m not sure if something is wrong.
@slatkin, what syntax is being generated when you use Block Element? For me, it creates this: www.twitch.tv##.Layout-sc-1xcs6mc-0.fQyrMj.featured-content-carousel. After reloading, the element stays blocked, though it leaves a blank space.
Could it be that the element you blocked wasn’t the outermost container but just the content inside? That might explain why it reappears when you reload. I’ll move this to Ad-Blocking and tag @fanboynz to see if they have further insight."
Thanks for replying. My original syntax actually works fine now, it just wasn’t working at first on multiple browsers and I am not sure why. Perhaps it was a cache issue? Everything is great now.
