typed URL is erased after write it

Operating System: Windows 7
Brave Version: Version 1.24.85 Chromium: 90.0.4430.212 (Official Build) (64-bit)

Issue:

  1. open a new tab with keyboard shortcuts
  2. type any text or URL
  3. hit enter to go
  4. wait a second
  5. the page don’t load
  6. look at the URL bar and it has been cleaned and is ready for type anything
  7. get mad and re-type the desired URL, hit enter and this time goes correctly
  8. happens every time a new tab is open

It started to happen a week ago.

Have you ever been experienced this?
How to resolve?
